    Introduced a low-temperature dehumidifying dryer at the main factory (first in Japan)

    Designated as Japan's first AQ-certified factory for coniferous dry processing materials for construction use by the Japan Housing and Wood Technology Center.

    Installed a biomass boiler at the head office sawmill

    Completion of head office building (now 22 Ninomiya, Tsuyama City)

    Won the first Emperor's Cup for domestic lumber in the forestry category of the 31st National Festival of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

    The former president has an audience with the Emperor and Empress at the Imperial Palace.

    Installed an unmanned, ultra-high-performance twin band saw in Japan at the head office lumber section 2 factory

    Established a new pre-cut factory in Kobe, Tsuyama City

    Established Shimizu Factory (laminated wood) in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture (former Shimizu City)

    Established a metal precut factory in Kobe, Tsuyama City.
  • December 1999
    Shimizu Factory became the first domestic laminated lumber manufacturer to receive ISO9001 certification
  • February 2001
    Kume (Lumber) Factory completed in Kume Industrial Complex in Kume, Tsuyama City (former Kume-machi, Kume-gun)

    Tokyo Logistic Co., Ltd. Fujinomiya Factory completed

    Innosho Forestry Co., Ltd. Kume factory completed
